How MeshWX Pro works

One connected device gives the whole mesh weather awareness.

Only the MeshWX Pro device needs Wi-Fi. Everyone receiving the warning through Meshtastic or MeshCore can remain beyond cellular coverage.

Watch the NWS

The device checks the National Weather Service for active alerts in your selected counties.

Filter what matters

Warnings and selected watches are formatted for delivery over the mesh platform you selected during setup.

Broadcast over LoRa

The alert is transmitted over the Meshtastic or MeshCore network you selected during setup.

Reach the mesh

The warning travels node-to-node to users who may have no internet or cell service.

Setup without config files

Flash it. Join it. Choose your counties.

No account and no separate app are required. The initial firmware flash is done from desktop Chrome or Edge; after that, setup happens from a phone and MeshWX Pro runs on its own.

Flash from the browser

Connect a supported Heltec V3 or ThinkNode M7 by USB and install MeshWX Pro from the web flasher.

Join the setup hotspot

The device creates its own Wi-Fi network so you can configure it from your phone.

Pick your mesh and coverage

Select Meshtastic or MeshCore, choose your state and counties, configure the settings for your selected mesh, and enter your Wi-Fi.

Save and start broadcasting

The device begins monitoring automatically and provides an on-device status page and display.
