MeshWX Pro watches the National Weather Service and automatically broadcasts severe-weather warnings across your Meshtastic or MeshCore network. After flashing, choose the mesh platform you want to use and let one small, always-on device keep the local mesh informed beyond the edge of cell coverage.
One connected device gives the whole mesh weather awareness.
Only the MeshWX Pro device needs Wi-Fi. Everyone receiving the warning through Meshtastic or MeshCore can remain beyond cellular coverage.
1
Watch the NWS
The device checks the National Weather Service for active alerts in your selected counties.
2
Filter what matters
Warnings and selected watches are formatted for delivery over the mesh platform you selected during setup.
3
Broadcast over LoRa
The alert is transmitted over the Meshtastic or MeshCore network you selected during setup.
4
Reach the mesh
The warning travels node-to-node to users who may have no internet or cell service.
Setup without config files
Flash it. Join it. Choose your counties.
No account and no separate app are required. The initial firmware flash is done from desktop Chrome or Edge; after that, setup happens from a phone and MeshWX Pro runs on its own.
Important: MeshWX Pro and MeshWX Open Source are supplemental tools. Keep an official warning source such as NOAA Weather Radio, wireless emergency alerts, or local sirens.
